Texas Salons Explore State Relations Initiative
with Potential National Rollout to Follow

Inspired by conversations during the state relations roundtable with the Professional Beauty Federation of California during ISBN's recent conference, ISBN President Gordon Logan (Sport Clips) and Past President Paula Malloy (JCPenney Salons) are spearheading efforts to present a united voice on behalf of the industry in their home state of Texas. Plans are to roll out the program nationally on a grassroots level in each state, based on the California and Texas models.

"We realize everyone is busy working for their own companies and associations, but we must unite to champion the industry and our mutual issues as a whole, or we will all pay the price," says Paula. If you're interested in getting involved or attending the next meeting of the Texas delegation at the end of October, reach Paula at pmalloy@jcpenney.com.  If you'd like to discuss leading a group in your state, contact Gordon at gordon.logan@sportclips.com.
